The research facilities at NIPER, Mohali has central instrumentation laboratories (CIL) equipped with a variety of sophisticated, advanced instruments. CIL caters to the needs of researchers within the Institute as well as outside academic and industrial users. Continuous upgradation is done to align with international standards and high-quality research in Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. CIL offers various testing facilities. 
Workshops are conducted to explain the functioning of the instruments to students, researchers, and professionals participated across India and from Abroad (ITEC-SCAAP program). The hands-on experience on various instruments also is provided to the participants.
